I had a fantastic stay at La Bambouseraie! The bungalows were incredibly stylish, resembling tree houses with bamboo accents. The cleanliness was impeccable and the shower had excellent water pressure. Meaghan, the host, was gracious and provided valuable information about permaculture and sustainable building. The car ride up the bumpy road was easy with a low rise car.
Do recommend this hotel.

One of the best places I stayed during my trip in Central America. Loved being surrounded by lush forest and waking up to stunning views. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the breakfast options were great. It was also convenient to be able to order lunch or dinner to be delivered to my door. a perfect escape from city life.
Had a few minor disappointments during my stay. There was a miscommunication about transportation from the port, which led to an unnecessary fee.

The best part about my xmas stay was the breathtaking view from the accommodation. Being surrounded by nature and having the opportunity to sleep in a treehouse was truly a unique experience. the houses were clean and well-maintained, and the staff on-site were friendly and helpful with recommendations. I enjoyed the peacefulness of the location, with the soothing sounds of animals and the mesmerizing sight of countless fireflies at night.
The worst aspect of my stay was the lack of communication and organization from the management. Upon arrival, there was no proper greeting or guidance, which made the check-in process confusing and inconvenient.

The view from our room was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake and volcano. We also enjoyed the unique experience of staying in the bamboo bungalows, which felt serene and in harmony with nature. the staff was friendly and informative, providing us with a tour of the permaculture farm and helpful contacts for any mishaps.
We did have a few disappointments during our stay, such as some miscommunication regarding transportation and having to pay for a taxi that we didn't use. the towels provided had stains on them, which was unexpected for the price we paid.

Our New Year's stay at this hotel was truly memorable. The stunning views of the surrounding landscape, especially the sunset over the nearby volcano, were breathtaking. The privacy and tranquility of the location allowed us to truly relax and unwind. We also loved the honesty system, which allowed us to enjoy cold drinks whenever we wanted.
The remote location of the hotel, which required some planning and additional transportation arrangements to explore other areas of the island. Additionally, the management of the hotel left something to be desired.
